Please stay tuned as we release more information! Contests for 2026 Rockaway Writers' Rendezvous opens on December 1st, 2025. We have contests for writing and art in two categories, student and adult.
As always, students are encouraged to apply. There is no charge for submissions, and they are eligible to win cash prizes.
We also encourage adults to enter from anywhere in the country. There is a $20 submission fee, which helps pay for the expenses to run this contest. All winners will be published in the 2026 Anthology.
Hello! We are NCAM Foundation
NCAM is short for Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art & Music Cultural Foundation. We are a registered Oregon 501c3 non-profit supporting all forms of art, based in Rockaway Beach, serving the Neah-Kah-Nie Coast throughout Tillamook County.
We are an entirely volunteer run organization, and we depend on the support of our community, its volunteers, its businesses, and local+state grant programs. Thank you for your continued support, your efforts make a big difference!

Mission
The Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art and Music Cultural Foundation (NCAM) believes that everyone, including youth, deserves access to cultural expression in an engaged community through writing, music, arts, and cultural programs that reflect — and inspire — our rural community’s creativity, diversity, and connections with one another.
Initiatives
We are excited that our first initiative, the Rockaway Writers Rendezvous (RWR) has turned into an annual event with support from the Tillamook County Library. With the launch of NCAM, we are bringing the writing and music efforts together under one roof where we can expand to include initiatives for additional art forms.
